Corn Island Exhibition

Corn Island is renowned for its white beaches, turquoise water and cool Caribbean vibe. Frequented by divers, snorkelers and people just wanting to “get away”, Corn Island transports visitors to a time and place still unknown by mainstream tourists. Snorkeling is a highlight on this trip, but opportunities abound for people preferring to stay dry. Glass-bottom boat tours, visiting Picnic Center Beach or Quinn’s Hill, and of course, the laid back atmosphere of the Little Corn Island is only a short boat ride away. Don’t forget to try a rondon before you leave, you won’t regret it!

Planning to be in Nicarugua for the first two weeks of November. I had not factored in the “right coast”. After reading some comments. On tripadvisor I am intrigued.

Can you tell me what places other than the Corn Islands and Managua one can fly to from Blue Fields?

The water looks very nice in Pearl. Is there a need to go to Corn Islands since I don’t dive?

If I fished one day and had three other days to sightseer with you what would you recommend?

The right side is where it’s at!

The only other flight from Bluefields is to Puerto Cabezas several times a week.

The water in Pearl Lagoon isn’t quite as crystal clear as it sounds. It is a big murky due to the rivers that empty in the lagoon. However just a few miles offshore are the Pearl Cays which are even more magnificent than they sound!

There are lots of other things to do in the corn islands other than diving.

I would say go fishing one day, explore the little island on the second day, return the third day and visit the culture house and maybe rent a golfcart to explore the island, hang out on the beach for your last day and maybe take in a baseball game or visit the soul of the world park.

Regardless of what you do, you will have a great time!
